It's funny how despite the passing years, the changes you go through, and the long silent periods, you still go on loving those same people who once changed your life, even though in reality now you only know them a little better than strangers.

The interesting part -- it isn't necessarily good or bad change these people may have incited. All those that leave a mark are loved in some capacity, and we act as if we have some relationship with them...even if it has been 10 years since you last spoke with them.

this is so true. You lose contact with people but some of who you are is always caught up in your love for another and their love for you.
